Ophelia was made by me from rags and rubbish collected in the river.
It is named after the character in Shakespeare's Hamlet. Ophelia in Hamlet eventually drowns in the river. Her death is hailed as the pinnacle of literary history.
I made Ophelia out of rags and rubbish to raise awareness of the pollution of rivers and to raise awareness of the need to protect them.
